In the past 24 hours we’ve picked up a fresh 4-6” of new snow. The precipitation came with cold temperatures and the resulting snow flakes were fine, which settled in densely. At the tail end of the storm, over night and for the majority of today we saw significant wind. For skiers today that meant fresh tracks on and off piste, with the majority of the new snow packing into the nooks and crannies amongst the trees. Our famous woods and glades have exquisite packed powder, and fresh lines abound for the adventurous skier. The trails are covered wall to wall with soft packed powder and there are pockets of chopped powder on moguls and along the edges. We’re not even into the month of February, yet we are enjoying some magnificent mid-season skiing conditions. Tonight the cats will be rolled out once again to lay down the corduroy on a nice selection of our novice and intermediate trails for skiers to enjoy tomorrow. We anticipate 100% of our main mountain terrain to be open tomorrow serviced by 3 of 5 lifts scheduled to spin from 9 AM to 4 PM. Come on up and see for yourself, you never know until you go, go, GO!
