Re: Workdays - Vivian/Fritz - Test of creating new topic
Hi Bob,
Well at the outset, that was certainly part of the plan.
From these notes:
You can post new topics in this forum
You can reply to topics in this forum
You can edit your posts in this forum
You can delete your posts in this forum ***
You can post attachments in this forum
That show up in various places and the words in the FAQ, that was my intent.
I had no question that the "Forum would work" just explore the little idiosyncrasies that may pop up before new users less familiar with using forums get frustrated and shy away from using it.
It then occurred to me that this "test thread" might be a handy place for folks to experiment a bit or ask questions without concern of confusing an ongoing thread/topic such as your new "Stark Mtn" thread with "how do I" questions.

waw - quickly resolved the question on "subscribe to" email responses.
At the moment, I have yet to figure out how to delete some of those little posts -- Any Thoughts ???
If it is the growing list of posts and the need to scroll down to read the last post (the default display order was ascending) consider changing the order to descending. To make this selection stick, you have to make the change in your CP(Control Panel) settings. Then the most recent post will be at the top of the screen.
Leaving this test thread grow a little will let folks experiment with the display order settings, search, etc. to find what they like best.
- Eric can clearly delete it at a sensible point.
It is also not clear to me that Rick Moulton intended to create a new Topic/Thread with his post this morning or to post a message to original main thread that Vivian started.
Suggest experimenting with "save draft" feature before losing a lot of typing at some point.
Have a great day,
