DESCRIPTION:It is time to celebrate our country’s 250 years of independence Mad River Valley style. This year’s parade theme\, “Resistance is Revolutionary”\, comes naturally to a mountain community that takes pride in holding true to our ethos by resisting market forces in order to protect and preserve the Mad River Glen experience. As a fiercely independent ski area we know how important resistance is. \nIn that spirit\, we are excited to celebrate our nation’s independence starting with a float and poster party tonight at 5:30 in the Basebox along with dinner at General Starks Pub from 4:30-8:30. All are welcome as we prepare our float for the Warren July 4th Independence Day Parade. \nFriday night we open the General Store for a Pop-Up Sale from 4-8pm. Come on up and grab some MRG SWAG for your weekend celebrations and summer adventures. General Stark’s Pub will be serving up their Friday Fish Fry from 4:30-8:30. It will be the perfect way to enjoy some cooler mountain air with friends and family. \nSaturday General Stark’s Pub is closed so our entire community can celebrate our independence. Speaking of which\, we need you to join the resistance! We welcome our skiers to join us in the parade and show your love of our mountain and country.
