On Saturday of Green and Gold weekend, the Stark Mountain Foundation will be hosting a scavenger hunt for children ages 5-12 from 12 PM – 3 PM however, any and all ages can participate. This scavenger hunt is intended to introduce our community to the Birds of Birdland signs. The Stark Mountain Foundation will have a tent set up in the Base Area where participants can pick up a scavenger hunt list of questions and clues. Each participant will be automatically entered into a raffle which will be drawn at 4:00 PM (winners need not be present) prizes include bird-related books.
The event will take place on Saturday however, the scavenger hunt will continue to be available throughout the fall by visiting the Kent Thomas Nature Center.
