There have been many wacky spring events over the years but never in MRG’s fabled history has there ever been a “Pond Skim” at the base of General Stark Mountain. That’s all going to change on Saturday, March 13th at 11 am when we host the Mad River Rage Pond Skimming Extravaganza. We didn’t want all that manmade snow on the Practice Slope to go to waste so our Mountain Ops Team is working their magic creating a “Skim It If You Can” worthy venue for an event that is destined to go down in the annals of MRG lore. Can you “Skim It”? You’re invited to join in on the fun. All you have to do is pop on into the Basebox to register between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Registration is $10 with ALL proceeds going the the Preserve Our Paradise Campaign. This is an event you are not going to want to miss. Surely the General Stark’s Pub team will find a way to join in on the fun and lubricate the denizens.
