Please give us a short statement as to why you are running for the Co-Op Board:

To help preserve the awesomeness of Mad River Glen as a unique ski experience for years to come.

Why are you passionate about Mad River Glen and the Co-Op?

I love MRG and our family is completely committed to making it a second home for our family. My husband and I met at General Stark’s pub 8 years ago yesterday in that old fashioned “met at a bar” love story and today we have two young children, Gus (6) and Maeve (5) who started the seasonal ski program this year. We would have started last year if it wasn’t for the D#M COVID! We have a love for the special nature of MRG. Everything from the laid-back vibe, the beauty of the mountain, the heartiness of the skiers, the comfort of a good old fashioned lodge, and a true appreciation for east coast skiing. With so many changes in the ski industry, we feel that MRG is a true gift. One we want to preserve and that our children and hopefully grandchildren can experience in all of its one-of-a-kind magic!

What skills and experiences do you bring from your non-skiing life that would be an asset to the board?

I am the VP of a Biotech company in Cambridge, bringing 20 years of operational experience that includes managing company growth and retention, budgets and project management.

What identities and/or life experiences do you have that you think will bring greater diversity and unique perspectives to the Board?

I have extensive travel experience that can bring a global perspective to the uniqueness of the mountain. I married and had children later in my 40s affording me the opportunity to ski as a single woman and now experiencing raising our children as skiers at Mad River. I understand both perspectives as a family and an individual.
