After a great weekend of near-peak foliage and great music, we’re looking forward to Green & Gold Weekend coming up. The forecast for this weekend is currently calling for a beautiful, sunny start before turning a little more turbulent toward the end. The leaves should be stunning, and the vibes will be high.
Saturday will feature a family-friendly presentation, “Owls and Their Calls”, by the Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences. The free presentation will start at 11:00 a.m. and requires preregistration.
Sunday will bring more of the Green & Gold Weekend festivities, including a Chicken BBQ. Come hungry, enjoy some good food, and soak in the fall atmosphere as we celebrate another great weekend at Stark Mountain.
Dog Reminder: We welcome dogs joining their owners hiking on the mountain but please keep your dog leashed or under voice control. This is especially important around lift machinery at all lift stations including the base, mid-station and summit stations.
