Gary (left), MRG’s newest shareholder enjoyed breakfast with his buddy right after buying his co-op share. He purchased it just in time to attend his first meeting and enjoy a free ski day.

Mad River Glen’s Cop-op Shareholder meeting was held this past Saturday.  In this day and age this annual rite of spring is unique. What other ski area gathers its community each year to discuss the mountain, make pertinent decisions and set it’s course for the future?  If you couldn’t make the meeting be sure to check out the video of the proceedings!

Leigh Michl – 373 votes (elected to a 3-year term)
Ron Shems – 386 votes (elected to a 3-year term)

Out-of-State
Erin Brenner – 166 votes
Charles Hauk – 52 votes
Matthew Milan – 195 votes (elected to a 3-year term)
Write-in Votes – 4

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 3.4 of the Cooperative’s Bylaws that the 2019 Annual Meeting of Owners of Mad River Glen Cooperative will be held at 5:00 p.m. on April 6, 2019, at the Basebox, Mad River Glen Ski Area, Fayston, Vermont. 

The voting for trustee elections will be by a one page Australian ballot. You may cast your vote by marking, authenticating and returning the absentee ballot enclosed with this Notice (following the instructions printed on the ballot), or you may cast your ballot at the meeting.
