Blueberry Lake x-c, the snowbowl of the Valley. Come and enjoy the warmth of our sheltered trails! We have 11 trails (35K) for classic skiing, skating or snowshoeing. There are trails for easy to expert abilities. Many of our trails are wooded but also have some in wide open meadows with beautiful views. There are complete ski and snowshoe rentals and lessons at the center. Please phone ahead of time if you would like a lesson. All trails are engineered and graded for the average skier’s ultimate enjoyment — set skating width with heavy duty track setting equipment for the best in tracks. The trails are groomed most every day.We have a few snacks and bottled water. Take your young children for a ride on one of our pulk rentals. Well behaved dogs are welcome — but please clean up after them!
The Bundy Modern, built in 1962 as an art and sculpture gallery, was conceived to be in harmony with its surroundings in nature and to bring the outdoors in through the use of walls of glass. Set on a plateau with mountain views, the Bundy was designed in the Bauhaus style by Harvard GSD architect, Harlow Carpenter. The original mission: to offer a space for modern and contemporary artists and sculptors to show their work within a setting of serene rural beauty, while offering the public an unusually pure example of modern architecture for inspiration and study. Today we build on the original mission by offering an intersectional view of the arts inclusive of modern, contemporary and industrial art, design, craft and furniture. We will achieve this by working with curators deeply knowledgeable in their field who will bring a fresh vision to the space.
