The Cafeteria located on the main floor of the Basebox Lodge is the traditional stop for most of our skiers seeking sustenance. It’s open for breakfast and lunch as well as snacks in between.
In the cafeteria, you will find every culinary treat to fuel your day of skiing. Start your day off right with an Egg McMad breakfast sandwich or have your eggs prepared to order. We also offer many other breakfast staples such as pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage and home fries. Classics from the grill; burgers, hot dogs, grilled sandwiches, baked potatoes and french fries. You’ll also be delighted by the deli sandwiches, soups, pizza, hot pretzels and award-winning chili. Everyone loves Mad River Glen’s baked goods made from scratch in-house every day, including our legendary rice crispy treats, brownies, raspberry bars and those ooey-gooey chocolate chip cookies. There’s always something special and new so be sure to stop on by and fuel up for your ski day.

The Snack Shack is a convenient option for the skier on the go! Serving many of our most popular food items from one central location in the Base Area. The Snack Shack allows you to stop for a quick bite to eat without having to take your skis off.
